Issued: Tuesday 6th March 2025

The digital healthcare business ilarna and the online ticketing platform Tickets for Good have launched a new partnership service that enables every care professional in the UK to access free and discounted tickets for music, theatre and sports events.

ilarna’s digital platform offers personalised home care solutions to more than 1,000 individuals, improving patient outcomes and working conditions for care professionals. Since its launch, the business has recruited 7,432 carers (ilarna Personal Assistants) with access to improved pay, benefits and learning and development resources.

Tickets for Good, a Sheffield-based online platform launched in 2019, connects live event partners with those working in the NHS, not-for-profit sector, and recipients of cost-of-living payments to access free or discounted event tickets. They have over 450,000 members internationally, benefiting from more than 1 million free and discounted tickets, which helps their partners develop their audiences and increase their social impact.

The new partnership and service will open Tickets for Good’s discounted and free ticketing offer to all care professionals in the UK, giving them access to live music and sporting events. The service will be accessed through a custom-built online platform that allows care professionals to create an account and sign up for alerts to a range of discounted and free tickets.

Alex Moran, CEO of ilarna, said: “At ilarna, a core part of our strategy is to elevate the recognition and rewards carers receive, acknowledging the incredible work they do. We are committed to championing what is often an undervalued profession and ensuring that carers receive the recognition they deserve. Our partnership with Tickets for Good and the offering we’ve created is another significant step forward in our mission to reward those already in the care profession, and it’s part of our efforts to help make the care profession an attractive and rewarding career choice.”

Jack Neville, UK managing director at Tickets for Good, added: “We’re really pleased to be working with ilarna on this. They’ve built a platform that puts care professionals first, and one that aligns strongly with our values. By joining forces, we’re able to extend access to live events in a way that feels meaningful, giving something back to the people doing important and often overlooked work.”
